ABOUT SOUTHGATE PLAZA
Springing from farmland in 1955, the Southgate Plaza originated with a post office and eight stores developed on the corner of Union Road and Seneca Street.
Over four decades later, Southgate Plaza encompasses over 500,000 square feet of space and is home to over 100 retailers and offices, which employs over 1,500 people.
Southgate Plaza’s commitment to the West Seneca community is perhaps what sets them apart from other local shopping centers. The plaza sponsors many community events that benefits both residents and non-profit organizations in West Seneca. Southgate Plaza’s customer service base reaches all of Western New York, Canada, and many other communities.
